Newton LDP has been shortlisted as New Business of the Year

Newton LDP has been shortlisted as New Business of the Year at the Coventry Live and Warwickshire Live Business Awards 2022.

The ceremony is to be held at Coombe Abbey Hotel on Friday 28th October.

Newton LDP has shown rapid growth since it was launched in July 2021 by Richard Foxon and Piers Beeton.

In its first 15 months, it has advised on the sale/purchase of approximately 643 acres of consented development land, with planning permission for over 3,415 new homes and a combined land value of more than £153 million; and has under offer a further 181 acres of land, with consent for 1,707 new homes and a land value of around £113m.

It has also embedded itself in the community, establishing a new charitable partnership with the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) to address mental health among the farming community, raising more than £23,000 in its first ever fundraising event.

Managing Director - Richard Foxon said: “It is always a big decision to start a new company, but particularly when you leave the safety net of a large corporate employer in the middle of a global pandemic.

“However, we have made tremendous strides as a company, developed our loyal client base and expanded our senior team with the arrival of new directors William Young and George Fox this year as well as recruiting Sam Jones as a Graduate Surveyor.

“To be recognised and shortlisted as New Business of the Year is a tremendous reflection of our journey so far and I could not be prouder of the team and all those that support us.”
