Warwickshire-based land, development and property agency Newton LDP has completed the sale of approximately 60 acres of land within the Pickford Gate scheme to national housebuilder Vistry Group Plc on behalf of its client, Hallam Land, and the landowners.
The latest deal follows on from the sale of 31 acres of land to Countryside Partnerships (part of Vistry Group) in March 2023, which will deliver 247 homes; a further sale of land for 491 new homes to David Wilson Homes in September 2024 as well as the sale of 52 acres of employment land to Royal London in October 2024.
Hallam Land, the strategic land and planning promotion arm of Henry Boot, secured outline planning consent for the wider Eastern Green development in 2021.
Pickford Gate will provide a community of 2,400 new homes – at least 25 per cent of which will be affordable homes - employment land, a new primary school, district and local community centres, a transport hub, and extensive open spaces and play facilities.
