Newton LDP was appointed by Hallam Land Management to market the site which they owned and promoted at Ambrosden.
Cherwell District Council resolved to grant outline planning permission in February 2023 ‘for residential development of up to 75 dwellings including bungalows; open spaces (including children’s play space); community woodland and other green space; new vehicular and pedestrian access off Blackthorn Road; and associated landscaping, earthworks, parking, engineering works, demolition, and infrastructure’.
The sale was conditional on planning consent being granted and the decision notice was issued on 19th December 2023.
Mulberry Developments was chosen as the preferred party and the sale is anticipated to complete in Q4 2024.
