Newton LDP was appointed by Catesby Estates to market land they had promoted at Kenilworth.
Warwick District Council granted outline planning consent in April 2021 for the demolition of the existing farmhouse and agricultural buildings to make way for up to 620 dwellings, as well as a primary school.
Given that this was a landmark instruction, the decision was made to create a bespoke branding campaign, which included the naming of the site ‘Crewe Gardens’.
Initial ‘expression of interest’ letters were sent to identified potential purchasers in advance of the formal marketing campaign with the site being launched officially in October 2020. Following a busy marketing period, which included meetings to review all the technical information, ten bids were received.
Following a round of shortlist interviews and ‘best & final’ offers, Vistry Partnerships were chosen as the preferred purchaser.
