The land was granted outline planning permission in early 2017. We conducted a full marketing exercise and shortlisted a small number of potential purchasers.

Following a round of ‘best & final’ offers, Vistry Homes (then Bovis) were chosen as the preferred party.

During the legal process, there appeared to be some ambiguity over the extent of the highway boundary and third party land ownership, which involved looking at alternative access works. Alongside Gladman and Vistry, we looked at various different potential solutions for the highway layout, which protracted timescales. However, a suitable technical solution was eventually found, the works were implemented, and the site was sold.
